"La Maison au Puits", the house with the well, located in the small village of "Les Cabannes" directly at the foot of the "Puech Mordagne" on which you will find the medieval fortified town of "Cordes-sur-Ciel". "Cordes-sur-Ciel", founded in 1222 A.D. by Count "Raymond 7th" of Toulouse. "La Maison au Puits" was built around 1680, in the traditional atmosphere of the south-west of France, located directly on the oldest vineyard of France "Gaillac". The house has 4 rooms with private bathroom, for a maximum of 8 people and has been run since 2010 by Christianne et Nico, 2 Limburgers who settled in this perhaps one of the most beautiful regions of France, the "Tarn". A somewhat unknown place for the Dutch, but one of the oldest history books in the country of "dolce farniente", the blissful doing nothing. Be welcome in "La Maison au Puits"!
